Studio 505 / / Fall 2012

This studio explored the theme of a public architecture of production and consumption. Located on a pier in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, it includes a public exhibition component conceived of as a kunsthalle—an art museum that mounts temporary exhibitions and is without a permanent collection—and a private production component conceived of as an arts factory— a studio and production spaces for visiting artists.
